Our Journey: From Lockdown to Love
When the world shut down during COVID-19, life took an unexpected turn. After more than a decade of working with Estee Lauder, I found myself jobless and searching for a new purpose. I was determined to start an online store, but finding quality products that resonated with me proved challenging. Everything I came across seemed too plastic and impersonal.
Amidst this uncertainty, a wonderful idea emerged from my father, Orlando Bermudez, a skilled carpenter with years of experience. He suggested that I help him sell some of his handcrafted boards adorned with resin. I had never heard of resin art before, but I was intrigued and decided to explore this new venture. Diving into YouTube tutorials, I began with small projects and quickly fell in love with the art form.
Together, my father and I combined our talents, crafting unique boards, clocks, and coffee tables. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, inspiring us to officially launch Bermor Decor. Our pieces are more than just furniture; they are a testament to our journey and a labour of love.
Today, we are proud to share our passion with the world. Each piece we create is made with love and dedication, from the stunning, robust trees of London to the unique resin effects that make each item one of a kind.
